In Name Only:
When the Church leaders heard that despised backwards Samaria was the first region on Earth to accept the Gospel en masse, they at once sent in Peter and John to finish the job. When they arrived, they prayed that the people would receive the Holy Spirit, because they had only been baptised in Jesus' name alone. All upon whom they laid hands then became filled with the Spirit. (Summary of Acts 8:14-17)
Meditation: How many of us are Christians in name alone?
